Mask Policy 11/08/20

Mask Policy (updated 11/8/20):  The Board of Elders continues to encourage God’s people to gather for worship and fellowship on Sunday mornings. Beginning Nov. 15, the 8:15 am service will be “masks required” and the 11:00 am service will be “masks encouraged”. The reason for this change is to provide clarity and to give people of different circumstances a place to gather where they feel most comfortable and welcome. Online worship services will continue to be available on Facebook Live and friendshipcelebration.org for those who are at-risk or unable to attend in-person.

The masks required service at 8:15 will have some exceptions. Worship team, lectors and worship leaders are not required to wear a mask as they sing or speak. For communion, masks may be removed in the moment of partaking the meal. As we approach the holiday season, special services (Thanksgiving Eve, midweek Advents, Christmas Eve and Day) are masks encouraged, but not required. Finally, keep in mind social distancing of six feet or more should still be observed. Thank you!
