Rev. Dr. Matt Henry has served as pastor at FCLC since 2017. He and his wife, Sally, have four children and are coming up on that empty nest, or at least less full nest, stage in life. Pastor Matt attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO (MDiv, 2004; DMin 2017). He has also served at Trinity, Oregon City, OR (2004-2009) and Faith, Lacey, WA (2009-2017). Pastor Matt is a big believer in moving from a paradigm of membership to discipleship. He also teaches as an online adjunct professor for Grand Canyon University. And in terms of personal interests, he loves anything to do with Idaho, the first decade of the Simpsons, Weird Al, and of course, the Kansas City Chiefs.
