The Magdeburg Confession: How should the church respond to the state when it becomes tyrannical? Do we resist or obey? The Magdeburg Confession of 1550 was only recently translated to English (which is why you’ve never heard of it!) yet it provides helpful wisdom for contemporary issues. This class will bring together history and theology in a practical way so we know how to live as responsible Christian citizens today with a clear conscience and worldview.
